2006-11-28 [Elwyne]: I know the feeling baty. My scanner (or more accurately my mother's scanner) does the same thing. So I always trace over my lines with ink. Gel ink writes more smoothly, but unfortunately it also spreads some which makes the details harder to maintain. If that advice helps at all.
